Indonesian government : 18 billion rupiah for Wimax

Indonesian government through the Department of Communications and Informatics set aside 18 billion rupiah in 2008 to develop Wimax broadband in Indonesia.

From the budget, 8 billion rupiah will be used to purchase measurement tools and licensed software, and the rest will be spent to pay 150 researchers.

Wimax is one of the broadband technology using 2.3 MHz frequency. [1]
