Rain, flood, oh what a surprise.
At least this time not only the little people who suffer: The president's entourage was caught in the flood around central Jakarta. The president had to change car and got his shoes soaked in the process. [1].
Fauzi Bowo, Jakarta governor, said he was not surprised that Jakarta is flooded (yet again)."It was already predicted by the meteorology agency (BMG), so we are prepared". Said the governor. [2]
It was not clear whether the president was also prepared (to get soaked).
